About the Project

STEMAzing Women is a pioneering initiative dedicated to empowering young women in rural and remote areas, equipping them with essential STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills, and fostering gender diversity in STEM fields. Our project focuses on addressing the challenges faced by young women aged 18 to 25 who are at risk of marginalization due to geographical or socio-economic barriers.

Through innovative approaches, STEMAzing Women aims to promote the employability and personal development of young women by providing them with the necessary resources, support, and training to pursue STEM education and careers. We recognize the importance of STEM as a life skill, not only for professional success but also for boosting self-confidence, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and creativity.

Our multi-faceted approach includes empowering young women with STEM training, facilitating access to STEM education and employment opportunities, enhancing cross-sectoral cooperation, and creating change agents within communities. By breaking down gender stereotypes and promoting inclusivity, we strive to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce for the future.

STEMAzing Women operates in Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Luxembourg, and Spain, targeting young women from low-income families residing in rural and remote areas. Our goal is to provide concrete and replicable paths for sustainable empowerment and employability, ultimately reducing poverty, social exclusion, and gender disparities.

Join us in our mission to inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders in STEM, and together, let’s create a brighter and more equitable future!
